Love Hotels Western Holiday By Oyo At Harlan Lake Ne - Alma

Staying at the Western Holiday Motel was a mixed bag. The couple running the place were very kind. My room was clean, and the bathroom had modern touches. The heating and cooling unit worked well. Loved that there was coffee available in the lobby, even if there was no coffee maker in the room. I appreciated the quirky charm, like the wall decoration and the bottle cap collection outside. The breakfast options could use improvement. Just cereal and toast didn't quite cut it. I found the electrical outlets limited. I really needed more than what was provided to charge my devices conveniently.

The view of Harlan Lake is quite beautiful.

Communication was non-existent, as I tried to reach them about a forgotten charger for days, but their phone was out of service. The cleanliness of the room was appalling-there was hair on every surface, and the tub was moldy. It's baffling how this place is still operating in such a wretched state.

I greatly enjoyed the room, the bed was comfortable.

The hotel of choice in Alma. Suitable place for traveling to Alma and exploring local places. Amicable and very very helpful staff, great location close to the lake. Based close enough to the Western Holiday Motel and downtown area. Exceptionally clean rooms.

i had a good stay at this motel where the friendly management made me feel right at home, and the cabin-like room provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the nearby attractions like boomer's dairy barn drive in just a short walk away and the lovely views around the lake, perfect for leisurely strolls.
